" And after they had given thanks unto the God of Israel, my father Lehi, took the records which were engraven upon the plates of brass, and he did search them from the beginning." (1 Nephi 5: 10)

 "And it came to pass that I beheld a tree, whose fruit was desirable to make one happy." (1 Nephi 8:10)

"And I also beheld a strait and narrow path, which came along by 

the rod of iron, even to the tree by which I stood." (1 Nephi 8: 20)

 "And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord spake unto the my father by night, and commanded him that on the morrow he should take his journey into the wilderness. And it came to pass that as my father arose in the morning, and went forth to the tent door, to his great astonishment he beheld upon the ground a round ball of curious workmanship.
